Performance Costumes

Our end of year show is coming up in the Town Hall next Thursday evening (8th December).

All of the children should have brought home a notice outlining any items of clothing that were needed as part of their costumes for this. Could these please be brought to school by Monday the 5th of December. Thank you for your help in collecting these items!

We look forward to seeing you all at our performance.

A musical morning

Our special visitor

Today Holly (Robinson) came to visit us. She was the New Zealand flag bearer at the recent Rio Paralympics games. She competed in the javelin and won a silver medal!  She brought it along for us to look at. She also brought her mascot - Tom. Did you know that if you bought a version of Tom in the shops, his head piece would be green (to represent the rainforests). Holly's was a special version. It was silver, because she was given it when she won a silver medal. If you won bronze, it would be bronze. And gold, would be gold!

Thank you Holly for answering all our questions. You were very inspirational!

Lucy's Special Project

Lucy has been working with Miss Toddun to create a wonderful artwork, that shows all the things that are special to her. Lucy shared it with us all and talked about what she had included on it and why. Thanks Lucy - it was awesome!
